We all have a hard time getting in enough fruits and vegetables. Juicing is so popular and like everyone else I decided to give it a try and just like that I was hooked. With so many different options it can be difficult to choose your blend. If you are looking for detoxification, fiber, anti-aging, hydration, digestive aid, no added sugars, weight loss (this one keeps you really full) and more vitamins and minerals than you can imagine, then you definitely need to try this. I drink one everyday and I truly feel bad when I don’t have it.

You don’t need a fancy Vitamix, a Ninja or Nutri Bullet works just fine. Also, you could double this recipe and store one in the fridge. If food prep is your thing, these couldn’t be any easier. Just take all your ingredients below and place them in a ziplock bag less the coconut water and chia seeds. Additionally, I find it best just to slice the lemon in half and place that in your bag as well...it’s best when freshly squeezed.

If your blender has two sizes of “cups”, opt for the larger one. Load it up with spinach, kale or any power green of your choosing...at least two cups. Next, toss in your apple, cucumber, mango, mint leaves, lemon juice, chia seeds and top off with coconut water. I never really measure but probably about two cups. Justadd to the top of your ingredients. There is no right or wrong there. It’s really a matter of how thick you like it. Less coconut water lends more of a smoothie texture, so the more you add, the juicier it becomes. Press blend and presto, you have a green smoothie. Enjoy! I would love to hear if you love it as much as I do...and I bet you do!

PS: Our two girls away at school asked for Ninja’s so they could make them while away~it’s really that good.
