Pantone Color of the Year? Not Exactly...

Lilac...evokes thoughts of spring, easter eggs, flowers and it's about as close to the Pantone Color of the Year (Ultra Violet) as this one here is going to get. I think it's fun to incorporate the color of the year somehow into your wardrobe. You don't have to go crazy, just a simple top or accessory will do! And if the exact shade isn't your thing, find a lighter or darker version of the color that does.  I've had this top for a couple of seasons now but what I loved most besides the beautiful shade was the detail on the neckline and the defined waist. I adore feminine detail on blouses and anytime I can wear something "out" that doesn't look like a sack, it's a win! Perfect for running around town, grabbing lunch with a friend.
