What I'm Packing for the Beach

What am I packing for our beach trip to WaterColor, Florida? Well, in short...not much. From a gal that is used to packing light anyway (when you travel with Peter Wallace you NEVER EVER EVER check a bag-I can seriously pack for 2 weeks in a carry on) so packing for the beach seems like a breeze. What do you really need? A few swimsuits, sundresses, sandals and of course espadrilles for a date night. We have rented a large house and I can wash and repeat. I like to keep things simple and will take items that have a dual purpose...like a dress that can double as a cover up for instance. I also like to choose items that can be mixed and matched as much as possible. One thing I will do differently for this trip is leave my items on their hangers so I can just take it straight from the suitcase and hang it in the closet and then place the rest of my items in a drawer. My advice, pack the essentials, enjoy a limited selection, wash and repeat and wear the same jewelry the whole trip. It is vacation after all and it doesn't get more relaxed than the beach.  If you are short an extra white t-shirt, just buy one there and don't sweat it.
